Exam

The written exam has five multiple-choice subjects; you need 40+ in each and an average of 60. The practical exam is a written test on code reading (C, Java, Python), SQL and software engineering, with 60 out of 100 to pass.

Eligibility and use

As an engineer-level qualification it requires a degree, work experience or a lower qualification plus experience; check Q-net's self-check. It counts in public-sector IT hiring, while private tech firms weigh coding tests more.

FAQ

Can non-majors apply?
Depending on education or experience routes.
How long is a written pass valid?
