Trade English (무역영어) is a Korean national technical qualification testing English for trade correspondence, contracts and letters of credit, offered at levels 1–3.

Exam

Three multiple-choice subjects: English reading, English composition and trade practice, covering letters of credit, Incoterms and shipping documents. Level 1 has the highest pass bar.

vs TOEIC

TOEIC is general business English; Trade English shows trade-document skills and is a plus for trading and export-sales roles.
