What they do

Search firms source candidates for mostly experienced, managerial or specialist roles, then coordinate resumes, interviews and offers. Candidates gain access to unadvertised openings and salary negotiation advice.

Fees and cautions

Under Article 19 of Korea's Employment Security Act and its Enforcement Decree, placement of high-skilled or professional workers may be charged only to the employer. Be wary if asked to pay. Avoid duplicate submissions through multiple headhunters and check your final career statement.
