History

Training vouchers began in 2008 with an account system for unemployed people, while employed workers used a separate card. The two merged in January 2020, so one card now follows a person across jobs.

Support and choosing courses

Most residents qualify for up to ₩3 million over five years, or up to ₩5 million for vulnerable groups, with partial co-payments. Some groups are excluded, including civil servants and high earners. Digital bootcamps run separately as K-Digital Training. Compare course content, co-pay, satisfaction, and employment rates on Work24.

FAQ

Can university students get one?
Final-year students may qualify.
